5/23/2023 0 Comments A Fortunate Blizzard by L.C. Chase![]() ![]() Hopefully after the craziness of the next couple days I can relax over the weekend and catch up on my reading. Between family visits and a migraine that’s been plaguing me, I’ve had little time and almost no desire to start something new. Holly: I haven’t read a single book all week. ![]() Probably Lord Dashwood Missed Out by Tessa Dare because I’m still in a historical mood. Which leaves me to now, I have no idea what I’m going to read next. It had everything that I loved from the first three books in the Dressmakers series and the humor that I adored from Lords of Scoundrels. Last night, I started and finished Dukes Prefer Blondes by Loretta Chase and holy cow, I loved it. So after I finished that book, I did another re-read of The Deal, I can’t stop myself from reading that book. I found myself being frustrated with everything and everyone for a good chunk of the book and the first thing that popped into my head when I finished it was, “Maybe I’m getting too old for this shit” so I’ll probably be cooling it on YA’s for the time being. I think I may be growing out of my YA phase because this book was good but it read a little too young for me. This week, I read Did I Mention I Love You? by Estelle Maskame, which was okay.
